Position Summary
Our client is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Database Developer to join their team, supporting Federal clients. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing responsive, high-performance database systems within user-friendly web applications.
This is a fully remote position available to US citizens residing in the United States with an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance.

Position Summary
Our client is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Database Developer to join their team, supporting Federal clients. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing responsive, high-performance database systems within user-friendly web applications.
This is a fully remote position available to US citizens residing in the United States with an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop database solutions tailored to client needs.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Document and maintain data policies, procedures, and standards.
- Optimize databases to avoid performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet project timelines and deliverables.
- Operate effectively in an Agile environment with evolving requirements.
- Active SECRET clearance; US Federal client experience.
- 2-5 years of database administration experience.
- Familiarity with DBMS platforms, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS).
- Proficiency in database automation, scripting, design, and modeling (e.g., E-R diagrams, data normalization).
- Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and indexing.
- Knowledge of database security practices (e.g., authentication, encryption, access control).
- Background in data migration and integration (ETL, data warehousing).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
