FEBR Technician
FE/BR Doors and Window Technician at various Overseas locations. Must have experience with installation of Forced Entry Ballistic Resistant Products and is familiar with US Embassy/OBO standards for construction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Demolishes and prepares rough openings for replacement FE/BR sub-frames, doors windows, and elevations.
- Prepares, augments, and installs replacement FE/BR sub-frames, embeds doors and windows.
- Removes and replaces glazing panels and seals.
- Installs door, window and elevation ballistic trim, hardware, accessories, and finishes.
- Installs door hardware, ADA components, pumps, power supplies and makes wire terminations at the door.
- Maintains red line drawings, trouble shoots installations and prepares RFIs associated with installation questions.
- Tests, commissions, warrants installed products and trains Post personnel on O&M requirements.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years related carpentry, welding, low voltage, Project management or general construction experience required.
- FE/BR installation experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team.
- Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision.

HTSOS Certification
FE/BR Manufacturer Installation Certification (FDI, Ross, Habersham, Norshield)
Security Clearances
Clearance Level : SECRET Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
