JOB DETAILS:
Shift 1st/Day Shift
Location On-Site
Schedule Schedule to be provided by leader
Salary Range $19 to $21.98 Per Hour
JOB SUMMARY:
Duties may include Maintain records pertinent to the accounts payable function. Support other Accounting functions as assigned. Gradually acquire knowledge of other accounting clerk's duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Perform personal computer data entry for various department areas.
• Distribute invoices and credit memos as directed.
• Batch payable invoices.
• Audit Accounts Payable batches.
• Enter accounts payable information into the computer system.
• Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Update vendor master file.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Work within and promote corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Must have data entry or personal computer skills or experience.
• Must be able to use a calculator by touch.
• Ability to type quickly and accurately.
• Must have interpersonal skills to work with people in a relaxed, professional manner.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Some Accounting knowledge and/or experience equivalent to High School business accounting.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
