ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is seeking a Production Control Clerk to support our customer at Ft. Eisenhower, GA.
* The non-exempt job classification is covered under The McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) and the contract’s collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Service employees are compensated per the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits that are set by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division's WDs 29 CFR Part 541 and 29 CFR 4.163(f), unless otherwise modified by a CBA between labor and management.
JOB DUTIES
* Under general supervision, processes maintenance work orders and associated documents from a variety of sources.
* Performs data entry and research information in government provided maintenance automated management system. May perform duties of other classifications that have a pay rate equal to or lower than the employee’s current rate.
* Compiles production data to compare records and reports on volume of production, quality control, and other aspect of production to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service.
* Processes work orders within Government standards to meet contract requirements.
* Tracks work order and parts/part status’ to identify work orders that can be scheduled and worked.
* Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
* May prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
* May sort and distribute work orders or materials to workers or supervisors.
* May compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
* May calculate such factors as types and quantities of work orders completed, parts used, and worker and department production rates using STAMIS Adhocs/Excel Spreadsheets.
SECONDARY DUTIES:
* Performs other related duties as required.
* Practices physical security and committed to safety practices.
* Some positions will require the performance of other essential and marginal functions depending upon work location, assignment, or shift. Working Conditions.
* May work on concrete floors and in drafty, cold or hot areas. May have to inventory automotive equipment in heat, rain or cold if covering for Work Control Clerk. Wearing of protective wear and other safety equipment is required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions.
EXPERIENCE
* Five years’ (5) experience operating computerized maintenance management system.
* Must be able to create, compile, manage and use EXCEL on a daily basis.
* Proficient data entry with ability to type 50-55 wpm. General office skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English as well as understand and interpret military technical manuals, bulletins, and contract language.
* Working knowledge of Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS).
* Specific positions may require GCSS-ARMY and Admin Motor Pool Experience.
* Desired Skills:
* Eight years’ (8) experience in a maintenance-driven computerized maintenance management system.
* Ability to type 75 plus wpm. Working knowledge in GCSS-ARMY. Certificate, License, Registration, etc.
CLEARANCE
* Must possess valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain military driver’s license, material handling equipment license, and vehicle license up to five-ton capacity if required, within 30 days or when directed/required.
* Specific positions may require a secret security clearance and the ability to lift approximately 35-40 pounds.
EDUCATION
* High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
* Associate Degree desired
