As a Senior Client Service Associate, you can expect to:
- Think. We want your mind in the mix, to perceive, observe, reflect, decide, and act.
- Intake, screen, organize and process all that you are able, focus the advisor’s attention on the items that require his personal attention, and ensure that all activities are captured, scheduled, and completed.
- Conduct investment research (i.e. RightCapital, Holistiplan, Nitrogen, etc.) as directed by the advisor.
- Attend client meetings and assist with prep and follow-up
- Admin support with the day-to-day operations of the firm
- Generate reports, such as position statements, for advisor’s meetings with clients
- Update Excel spreadsheets concerning client accounts and asset allocation
- Prepare and process new business paperwork and transfers
- Handle incoming client requests and updates
- Proofreading (or quality assurance) skills to ensure that own work is in accordance with advisor or BD/RIA requirements
- Maintain prompt turnaround time on client requests, calls and emails
- Stay apprised of client meetings and ongoing activities, keeping up to date on the advisor’s priorities and projects, goals, and timelines and what he wants/needs to do with each on an ongoing basis so that you can process, schedule, and oversee projects.
- Help coordinate the advisor’s calendar availability; appropriately blocking time and coordinating commitments with the team.
- General support with the administrative tasks around our marketing efforts
- Interact with clients and prospects at in-person appreciation events and seminars 1-2 nights per month.
Qualifications for this role include:
- BA or BS required
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry is required
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role is required
- Series 66 (or 63 and 65) required
- Strong computer skills are required: CRM and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to build client relationships
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated job stability and career progression
