About the Job
Major international financial institution seeks Bilingual Japanese Client Services Administrator.
SUMMARY
To handle inquiries from the Japanese clients (mainly Japanese Financial Institutions) on day-to-day operations, primarily through email with our client window or our affiliated company in Tokyo, and to promote and manage our service enhancement with the internal departments based on clients’ needs.
JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively handles clients’ inquiries to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Analyzes the clients’ needs and develops solutions/options to strengthen relationship with clients.
- Informs the clients when potential problems may arise. If a problem has already occurred, reports to the Manager and takes any required action with the clients to solve the problem quickly.
- Coordinates with other departments to provide good service with clients.
- Perform night shift up to 11am in JST (Japan Standard Time) to respond inquiries via phone (2-3 times a month).
- Maintains all the communication records with clients, approval forms, and other documents as directed by the Manager.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Department Manager and Management not only in existing functions, but also in other additional functions necessitated by business expansion.
REQUIREMENTS.
- Customer Services experience (Experience in financial institution is preferred)
- PC Skills in Japanese/English (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good Communication skills in Japanese for external/internal and English for internal (Business Beginner Level)
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent preferred.
