Navigator Development Group Inc. seeks a Client Systems Administrator to support a program at Eglin AFB, Florida. The successful candidate will provide first-line response assistance to solve customers' Information Technology (IT) administrative and technical problems on client-level workstations and end-user devices, their operating system, peripherals, and applications while participating as a member of an integrated team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripherals
- Ensure limited user access and access permissions on computer systems are imposed and maintained
- Provide technical and product support, and assist customers with setup (email, browsers, printers, files, etc.)
- Facilitate and coordinate user account creation and modification
- Manage user support and coordinate with systems administrators when additional assistance is required
- Ensure systems are patched, maintain network compliance, and report any deviation
- Remediate hardware outages, system outages, and issues that could lead to an outage
- Interacts with customers and functional peer groups in support of end-user computer requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Hold current COMPTIA Security+ (Baseline) and A+ (Computing Environment) certifications per DOD8570.01 IAT-II.
- Capability to lift 40lbs
- Professional writing and oral presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Must have knowledge and experience with the installation, configuration, and management of Microsoft Windows 10/11 desktop operating system
- Ability to install software on computers
- Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot workstation and application-related problems
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment and effectively manage varying workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a diverse customer environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT-related discipline plus 5 years related experience, or Associate degree and 7 years related experience
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Administrator experience desired
