Clinic Director of Physical Therapy - Lakewood, NJ
Client: Our client has provided high-quality physical therapy and sports medicine services since 1997. They have over 70 facilities in NJ, NY & FL, all equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology. The experienced therapists at these facilities are dedicated to helping individuals recover from injuries acquired during sports, at work, or in car accidents.
Responsibilities: As the Clinic Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinic's day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing the clinical and administrative staff. Your role is crucial to the clinic's growth and success and requires efficient operation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Compensation and benefits:
- $115K plus productivity bonus

Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and current state licensure
- Several years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy
- Supervisory or management experience is preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with patients and the community
- Business acumen and financial management skills
Responsibilities:
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, most likely 7-3 or 12-8
- Provide direct patient care, including evaluations and treatments, as needed
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff to ensure adherence to best practices and delivery of quality care
- Collaborate with clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Keep abreast of industry trends and evidence-based practices
- Oversee scheduling and appointment management for clinic efficiency
- Monitor patient flow to minimize waiting times
- Manage and maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff
- Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and professional development
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment
- Ensure clinic compliance with relevant regulations, including state licensing, insurance, and Medicare guidelines
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs for maintaining high care standards
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the clinic and increase patient referrals
- Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to expand clinic services
