We are recruiting a gastroenterologist with an interest in General GI. This individual should have expertise in any number of disease or treatment groups such as IBS, GERD, and colon cancer screening. Candidates should be competent in performing EGD and colonoscopy with polypectomy. Proficiency in ERCP and/or EUS is not required. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Primary responsibilities of this position may include providing Emergency Department and inpatient coverage and expanding outpatient clinical care at UCI Health community clinical sites in Fountain Valley and other UCI locations.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $$227,475- $$378,300 ().
Required:
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement to improve patient outcomes.
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and objectives while in compliance of all UC policies and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all state and federal privacy laws.
- Leadership skills; ability to motivate, inspire, communicate with faculty, residents, staff, and peers to maintain a professional, team-based approach in the care of patients.
- Candidates must possess a M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board-certified and have California licensure
- Active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
