Job Overview
We are seeking experienced social workers, psychotherapists, and mental health professionals to join our comprehensive Health and Human Services team. Our agency operates over 60 programs across New York City and the greater New York area, serving more than 33,000 individuals annually. We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Coordinator who will provide clinical and administrative supervision, direct clinical services, and oversee the day-to-day clinical operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to Client Care Coordinators, Social Workers, and Interns, assessing their learning needs and implementing supervision plans.
- Ensure the accurate, complete, and timely maintenance of client treatment records in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Deliver direct clinical services to clients, including individuals, families, and groups. Ensure all clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Conduct clinical and administrative supervision for assigned staff on a regular basis.
- Identify and address staff training needs, and develop or conduct training programs to maintain and improve clinical staff competency.
- Review and assist with supportive housing applications, and complete psychiatric evaluations as needed.
- Provide referral source information and ensure the necessary linkage agreements are in place.
- Ensure timely follow-up on incidents and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences as required.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work.
- NYS LMSW license for Single Transitional Housing Sites with 1-2 years of experience providing clinical supervision.
- NYS LCSW license for Family Transitional Housing Sites with at least 6 months of experience in clinical supervision.
- Ability to supervise, train, and guide substance abuse or other clinical providers across multiple sites.
- Strong knowledge of NYC's medical and behavioral health care network, including substance use treatment services.
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatments, managed care principles, and behavioral practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
