Requirements of an LPN Clinical Coordinatorinclude:
· Licensed nurse with current registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
· Prefer experience in a geriatric care setting.
· Must be aware of nursing standards of care.
· Able to initiate and complete tasks without supervision.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Desire to work with the elderly
Primary Scope of Responsibility:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist in meeting staffing and resident care needs in our nursing department. This role is responsible for ensuring adequate staffing levels by coordinating professional staff hours, monitoring daily and weekly needs, and managing overtime and double time. You will also support nursing supervisors in addressing absences and assigning new nursing personnel based on area requirements.
In addition, the position involves assisting with resident care by participating in quality assurance monitoring, supporting investigations, and helping with direct care tasks when needed. The role also includes performing nursing clerical duties, maintaining quality assurance standards, and assisting with employee health record updates.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
