Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Texas

• Has at least 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Has training or experience in healthcare administration or at least 1 year of administrative or supervisory experience in a healthcare related field

• Demonstrates organizational, time management and leadership abilities

Job Duties:

The Occupational Therapist (OT) main duties would include supervising assistants (COTAs) and office duties as listed below:

• Develop & implement systems to ensure organization of field work & timely procurement of necessary documentation to ensure compliance of regulatory guidelines, which includes, but not limited to, Admission of new clients, Comprehensive Pediatric Assessments, Home Safety and new consent forms, obtaining orders, case communication notes, regular treatment visits, & supervision of appropriate therapy assistants

• Plan, evaluate, and Implement treatment plan to provide therapy services in accordance with the Plan of Care approved by the physician.

• Assist with supervision of field personnel, including, but not limited to, supervisory visits for compliance with practice act, compliance with company policies and procedures, completion of annual performance appraisals & as needed.

• Communicate and work with therapy office staff to ensure all processes are being followed and completed, including but not limited to intakes, onboarding, POCs, holds, caregiver calls, and MD orders

• Full-Time opening

• Monday-Friday availability

• Hybrid/flexible schedule with 2 days in office
