About the Job
The Clinical Coordinator (RN) will work under the general supervision of the Med/Surg Director, assuming leadership responsibilities when the director is absent. You will ensure that the Med/Surg unit functions efficiently and deliver high-quality patient care. The role includes supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, maintaining departmental standards, and supporting the hospital’s mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain efficient Med/Surg unit operations in the absence of the Director.
- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care.
- Support and collaborate with the department director to manage the unit's budget and daily operations.
- Supervise and provide guidance to staff members, both licensed and non-licensed.
- Ensure continuity of care and maintain a high quality of patient care.
- Direct patient care as needed, along with other duties as required.
- Foster a positive work environment with open communication and trust.
- Uphold the hospital’s mission and demonstrate passion for patient care and leadership.
