Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree of Science Degree in Food & Nutrition. Required

Work Experience

• 2+ years experience working in an acute care setting as a clinical dietitian in a health care facility. Required and
• Supervised Practice Program counts as experience Required

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Completion of an ACEND accredited Supervised Practice Program. Required
• This position possesses competent skills to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) & apply the nutrition care process to patient care. Required
• The person has competent skills to evaluate and recommend nutrition needs based on the specific combined objective/subjective information for a clinical nutrition assessment. Required
• Analytical skills to assess patient’s condition & provide appropriate interventions. Required
• Exhibits appropriate & effective communication/interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, physicians and other health care professionals. Required

Additional Licenses and Certifications

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration at date of hire Required and
• Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio at date of hire. Required and
• Maintains the required continuing education credits for Registration and License. Required
