We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Clinical Director to lead and manage our clinical staff, while also maintaining a caseload of clients.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the practice, ensuring high-quality therapeutic care, and managing a team of 12 therapists. This role requires a balance of direct client care and administrative leadership. The Clinical Director will work 20 hours per week providing therapy and 20 hours per week dedicated to clinical management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 20 hours of direct therapy to clients, specializing in children’s counseling.
• Supervise and manage a team of 12 therapists, ensuring caseloads are balanced and client care is optimal.
• Delegate tasks effectively to the leadership team and monitor completion.
• Audit therapist charts regularly to ensure accuracy, compliance, and thorough documentation.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflow and problem-solving issues as they arise.
• Run monthly staff meetings to promote communication, address concerns, and provide updates.
• Review therapist performance and generate improvement plans when necessary, ensuring all employees meet minimum job requirements.
• Stay current on insurance regulations and processes, ensuring that all clinical practices align with insurance-based requirements.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to create policies and procedures that support clinical excellence and practice efficiency.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture within the practice.
Qualifications:
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
