Job Specifications

 

• Must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a practitioner to oversee substance abuse treatment (LPC, LCSW preferred), therapeutic advice or counseling for the rehabilitation of drug dependent persons in compliance with state practice acts, or certified as an addiction counselor.

• Must be at least 21 years of age and must have at least 1 year of supervisory and administrative experience in the field of substance abuse treatment.

 

Job Description   

 

• Complete intake packets, assessments, safety plans, ongoing treatment plans and discharges for all patients.
• Ensures all clinic employees are properly licensed and /or certified for their specific job titles and duties.
• Ensures every aspect of the clinic is in full compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations and Joint Commission guidelines.
• Random chart review follow-up
• Represent the Program at Methadone Coalition functions
• Respond to all regulatory inquiries in a timely fashion
• Responsible for the supervision of counselors in training to include all Treatment Plans; Supervision of Group Counseling; and Supervision of Individual Counseling.
• Weekly audits of patient records to ensure Treatment Plans and casenotes 
• Lead Treatment Team meetings each week.
• Facilitate clinic growth by making contacts and networking within the community. 
• Responsible for the on-going and day-to-day clinical aspects of the program and of the treatment for those patients admitted to the program.
• Must be available for a daily shift, Monday-Friday from 5:00 am-1:00 pm
