Role Overview:
Our client, an award-winning long-term care community in the Bronx, is seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation and Reimbursement Director to lead teams overseeing assessment processes, quality reporting, and health information. The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, enable data-driven care improvements and leverage a passion for senior wellness to further the organizations mission.
Compensation: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00
Location: Bronx, New York
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
Overseeing Resident Assessment Instrument workflows
Guiding managed care case management strategy
Educating staff on documentation and coding
Analyzing item sets to inform quality initiatives
Auditing and tracking assessment performance
Managing Health Information and CDR staff
Ensuring adherence to state and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's preferred
3+ years of SNF reimbursement experience
completion of PRI assessor program ideal
Experience with Medicaid/Medicare guidelines
Skilled interpreting analytics to drive decisions
Exceptional communication and leadership talents
