RWJBH is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for our Emergency Department at the New Brunswick campus,
This is a full-time, day position with flexible scheduling Monday through Friday with some weekend commitment requirement 40hours/week,
Requirements and Qualifications
Sound Emergency Room LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTER experience of at least 5 years,
Strong communication and organizational skills
Active NJ Registered Professional Nurse
BSN required and MSN preferred or must be enrolled in Masters Program
National certification for clinical specialty REQUIRED, BLS and ACLS are required
Proficient computer skills
Responsibilities
Plan and design orientation, continuing education, and in-service programs in accordance with the requirements of N,
J,
Board of Nursing, current regulatory guidelines, the Code of Ethics and institutional guidelines,
Implement and evaluate educational activities/programs,
Develop and maintain employee records,
Serve as a resource person for education and promoted education in the Nursing Division,
Responsible for maintaining competencies as required by regulatory agencies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and deliver education to ensure quality and best practice,
