Position: Clinical Fellow
Location: Rio Vista - 3 days onsite, Mountain House, Antioch and Fremont School Dist.
Duration- 1 year
Job Summary: The Clinical Fellow will work under the supervision of a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist, providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. This fellowship offers comprehensive clinical training and mentorship, preparing the fellow for independent practice and certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct therapy services across various age groups and settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare professionals, and families.
Document client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Receive regular supervision and mentorship.
Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Provisional state licensure or eligibility for provisional licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
Completion of all academic and clinical requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based services.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability in various clinical settings.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with pediatric and/or adult populations in educational or healthcare settings.
Familiarity with various assessment tools and therapy techniques.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
