About the Job
The Clinical Stakeholder Lead plays a pivotal role in bridging clinical governance and quality across the organisation. By liaising with various business units, this role ensures that the different domains of clinical governance (including, but not limited to, safeguarding, quality, risk management and Customer experience) are integrated and prioritised in all business practices. The position serves as a crucial link, facilitating enhanced compliance and operational excellence within clinical frameworks.
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to oversee and integrate clinical governance considerations into business units.
2. Oversee and ensure compliance with clinical governance standards across the organisation; implement systems of quality assurance.
3. Collaborate with Clinical Governance & Professional Body Leads to identify and manage clinical risks, and lead on implementing lessons learned working with the wider business.
4. Lead the development and revision of policies and procedures to reflect up-to-date clinical governance and safeguarding practices.
5. Facilitate, coordinate and/or lead training sessions and workshops on clinical governance and clinical quality assurance for colleagues across various departments.
6. Manage projects that align with clinical governance goals, ensuring timely and successful execution.
7. Prepare comprehensive reports on clinical governance activities and outcomes for senior management.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in clinical governance, ideally working with different clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Solid understanding of quality assurance frameworks.
- Experience in policy development within healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of all areas of Clinical Governance (for example, quality, safety, risk management, safeguarding, information governance, audit, policy)
Desirable
- Experience in managing an array of projects.
- Experience in leading change and innovation in clinical processes.
- Professional certification in Clinical Governance, Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Human Factors or similar.
- Previous role in a clinical or healthcare governance advisory capacity.
- Experience of working in a senior role with PIP, WCA or SB.
