Clinical Imaging Associate Specialist, Clinical Imaging Academy - Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT)

We have designed a year-long program for early-career Cardiac Sonographers who are interested in cutting-edge structural heart and valve therapy to gain experience across our case support, patient screening, clinical development, quality, and imaging development teams, leading to a rewarding and breakthrough career at Edwards.
What you'll need (Required):
+ Collegiate Degree in Cardiac Sonography from an Accredited Program
+ RCS or RDCS Certification required
+ 1-3 Years of Clinical Experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
+ Must live in a commutable distance to our headquarters in Irvine, California or be willing to relocate to the Irvine, CA area (comprehensive relocation packages available)
+ Must be open to nationwide travel during required sections of this program
What else we look for (Preferred):
+ Interest in hands-on work with procedure support and image analysis
+ Experience/ exposure to Philips, GE and/or Siemens Echo Machines
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Electronic Data Transfer Systems

TMTT Clinical Academy Overview:
+ The Clinical Academy has developed an essential onboarding educational program to prepare you for the job function assignments.
+ This program will provide the foundational knowledge of our products and procedures, imaging techniques, clinical programs, and functional teams.
+ This impactful hands-on learning program will provide the support to set you up for success as an Imaging Associate Specialist.
Edwards Imaging Training Academy Training (14 week):
_Patient Screening_
Collaborate with a large team of Edwards sonographers as we work together to analyze TTEs and TEEs to help physicians make decisions surrounding which patients should be accepted in to our clinical mitral and tricuspid valve trials. Learn advanced CT imaging skills as we work extensively with cutting-edge imaging software to map out coronary and structural heart anatomy.
_Case Support and Training_
Gain valuable experience working within our Case Support and Training team as we deliver our transformative Tricuspid and Mitral Therapies to patients. Partner with trainers as we train Physicians at our Clinical Sites on the use of our devices, with simulators and bench-top models. Work alongside our Clinical Imaging Specialists as they proctor cases from the echo side of the room, using advanced imaging techniques and 3D MPR to guide the procedure with TEE. This is the frontline for advancing our TMTT Portfolio through our clinical research! Field travel nationwide up to 50%
_Medical Affairs_
Get immersed with the Clinical Development Team in early-stage product and procedural development and work with Imaging Development partners to understand cutting-edge imaging technology as it is used for our current and future TMTT Programs.
_Quality Complaints Investigation_
Work closely with Clinical Imagers to face and solve clinical challenges as we treat patients and ensure utmost quality of our products and procedures.

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.
For California, the base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $93,000 (highly experienced).
