Clinical Lab Technologist - Rapid Response - AnyPlace MD

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Technologist to join a dynamic Rapid Response lab just miles from Mount Vernon!

This full-time position 8 AM - 4 PM offering the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge laboratory environment with a focus on preparing pathological slides for diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency tests on various body fluids using automated and manual equipment
  
• Prepare reagents and manage inventory
  
• Assist with order entry and phone inquiries
  
• Provide guidance to technicians and train new employees
  
• Maintain a clean work area following Infection Control guidelines
  
• Handle additional lab tasks as needed
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a physical science; medical technology preferred.
  
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or a limited permit is required.
  
• Proficiency with laboratory and hospital information system computers, as well as various automated and laboratory equipment, is essential.
