Location: Modesto, CA

Trusted Staffe is seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our partner medical center in Modesto, CA. This crucial role involves performing technical procedures and quality control in the Clinical Lab, operating and maintaining instrumentation, ensuring accurate reports, and handling clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Technical Procedures and Quality Control: Accurately execute various clinical laboratory tests and procedures, including specimen collection, analysis, and interpretation, adhering to established protocols and quality control standards.
• Instrument Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper calibration for accurate and reliable results.
• Reporting: Generate timely and accurate laboratory reports, ensuring proper documentation and communication of test results to healthcare providers.
• Clerical Tasks: Assist with clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining laboratory records.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Laboratory Director, Technical Supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient laboratory operations.
• Patient-Centered Care: Promote the hospital's mission and philosophy by providing caring, courteous, and confidential service to patients and visitors.
• Professional Standards: Uphold professional standards and take responsibility for the accuracy of your work as dictated by the Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Healthcare Worker professional guidelines.
• Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information and test results.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related science field.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
