The Clinical Manager will provide management, support and mentoring of staff to develop a workforce that achieves consistency and provides case management services including assessing the health and long-term care needs of each participant.
THE POSITION
CareStar is looking for motivated individuals who:- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing or Business-related field required; Minimum 36 months experience in a home and community-based services environment; extensive knowledge of community resources and of Medicare/Medicaid, insurance and other programs and 1 year of supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
- Effective interpersonal skills with respect for others within a diverse work environment; effective oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Meet QMRP/QIDP standards (certification preferred): Familiarity with quality improvement processes.
- 24 months of experience in data analysis and/or data trending and/or accounting or financial analysis desirable; familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel. Valid driver's license and car insurance as required by state law
