CLINICAL MANAGER- INFUSION CENTER - Baptist Health Care

Under the direction of the divisional director of the service, the nurse manager has 24-hour responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in a designated unit. The clinical manager has authority to make decisions on that unit in the areas of patient care, human resource, and financial management.  The Clinical Manager is responsible for unit’s operations.  This person demonstrates superior communication skills with all internal and external customers and exhibits a high degree of integrity, a solid character, and sound judgment. 

The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

• BSN is required
• Three (3) years clinically related experience is required.
• One year Charge Nurse or supervisory experience is required.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Florida
• BLS through American Heart Association
• Chemotherapy Certified within 12 months of hire/transferDemonstrated clinical competence in relevant area of nursing practice
• Demonstrated leadership ability and potential managerial competency 
• Evidence of this includes, but is not limited to, effective communication skills, ability to deal well with people, ability to problem solve, ability to confront/resolve issues, ability to motivate others, ability to plan, organize, and direct the activities of others
