Veterans Inc., the largest provider of services to veterans and their families throughout New England, is looking for a professional, highly motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled individual to fill the Clinical Manager position and become a valued member of Veterans Inc. team!
Essential Job Functions
- Provide clinical guidance on the assessment of new admissions and referrals into Veterans Inc. programs.
- Provide evidence-based clinical treatment services to veterans seeking treatment for substance abuse and common co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Oversee development of individual treatment plans for clients.
- Review and audit ofnotes to ensure quality and compliance with funding source regulations.
- Provide appropriate feedback, training and clinical supervision for program staff regarding behavioral health treatment, record keeping, assessments and other topics as needed.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Human Resources to provide clinical in-service training for all staff.
- Work across all levels of the organization to accomplish the mission of Veterans Inc.
- Act as a liaison with the psychiatrist and other agencies providing auxiliary clinical services.
- Assist in the development and implementation of written policies and procedures that reflect the agency's philosophy and objectives.
- Attends and participates in all meetings as required.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field or Doctorate in Psychology required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and writing skills.
- Competence using MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Documented experience in substance abuse and addiction treatment planning.
- Documented experience working with clients with trauma histories.
- Must be able to pass a CORI background records check.
- Requires some travel. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts mental health licensure at the independent level required.
- Experience working with the veterans population, understanding of military culture and veterans issues.
- Previous experience managing outpatient treatment programs.
- Three (3) years social work experience, post licensure.
- Experience using electronic medical records.
This individual would be based out of Worcester and Shrewsbury locations. All duties would be performed throughout the designated territory's surrounding cities and towns within the state.
