About this position:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist practices as an expert in the application of the nursing process and theory within a specialty area. The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to advance patient care directly in the role of expert clinical practitioner and indirectly in the roles of educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, collaborator, clinical leader, role model, and patient advocate.Utilizes current research/evidence in nursing practice and staff development, and applies relevant findings to educational programs and patient care in conjunction with the unit-based Nursing Professional Development Specialist.

What you will bring:
- Master's degree in a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) track from an accredited school of nursing or grandfathered in per MDBON regulations

RN License Maryland State Board of Nursing Current designation as an APRN from the Maryland Board of Nursing
- BLS CPR certification required
- 3+ years of full-time experience in critical care
Salary Range: Minimum $47.93 per hour - Maximum $74.29 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
