Clinical Performance Specialist Atlanta
Bayer’s Clinical Performance Specialist within the Radiology business unit, offers end user customer training and support for Bayer Radiology’s entire portfolio of products. The Clinical Performance Specialist (CPS) is a key pillar within the Radiology Solution Delivery organization and is considered a critical area for our overall customer enhancement offerings. The CPS is able to provide an expert level of clinical training for all device and software products. More specifically, the Clinical Performance Specialist is responsible for supporting the training and clinical adoption of our portfolio of device products, Radimetrics Enterprise Platform solution, or a combination of both. The Clinical Performance Specialist will deliver product training and applications support to the end user (using approved training techniques) on the safe and proper use of our imaging products, and Radimetrics software platform. The CPS will also be expected to support customer training events both inside and outside of their primary geography as necessary. They will also be asked to assist the sales effort, collaboratively working with Portfolio Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Channel Management, Customer Success Team and Inside Sales. The CPS must remain current with Bayer equipment, current technologies and trends, and annual Bayer clinical certification.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Clinical Performance Specialist, are to:
- Deliver, plan and execute First Run Yield (FRY) clinical education training to users of Bayer equipment and / or Bayer software solutions,while ensuring all solutions are implemented according to Bayer standards;
- Facilitate and promote adoption of new technologies and procedures while onsite training occurs;
- Provide clinical expertise in the sales effort by working with Portfolio Representatives, Strategic Account Managers, Channel Management, Customer Success Team and Inside Sales with the intent to support Bayer’s portfolio of products;
- Build and maintain customer relations while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Utilize individual customer success tactics todevelop and maintain relationships to ensure customers that the appropriate tools to assist them in achieving their desired outcomes;
- Provide clinical answers and troubleshooting with external customers via telephone, e-mail, in person or electronically on all models (past and present) of Bayer Radiology products;
- Provide assistance and expertise with special projects as needed and requested;
- Will need to creatively develop implementation plans through detailed site and clinical workflow analysis; while using independent judgementto troubleshoot & resolve high priority and escalated questions/issues by using clinical acumen.
- Upon notification of adverse events or complaints, the Clinical Performance Specialist will follow company policies and procedures bynotifying Bayer’s Complaint Department;
- Maintain product knowledge on new and current device products and or Software platforms.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a relatable technical / clinical discipline;
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) Certification and / or CIIP Certification;
- Broad background and general knowledge of effective Radiology and /or IT department workflow and practice;
- Excellent verbal & communication skills, both over the phone and in person;
- Proficiency in MS Office suite; Working knowledge of and willingness to learn new technologies & internal software systems such asSalesforce, Kimble and ServiceMax;
- Ability to problem solve, manage complexity and ambiguity;
- Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time with many responsibilities representing overnight travel. Clinical Performance Specialists must also be willing to travel outside of their normal geography as needed to support training efforts, corporate meetings, etc;
- Ability to perform additional tasks, projects and assignments as requested by management;
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Bayer / Medrad Injector systems and IT experience/ radiation dose management software a plus;
- Associate’s degree in a relatable technical / clinical discipline such as Radiologic Sciences or Information Technology with a minimum of 6years relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $72,000 to $95,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
