Are you a licensed pharmacist looking for an opportunity to impact patient care? Our experience team at Missouri Baptist is looking for a passionate lead pharmacist to support our cancer center and investigational drug program.
This is a great opportunity to collaborate with pharmacy, provider, and nursing leadership and staff to grow and develop the cancer center pharmacy team and support pharmacy activities.

Overview
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. The Cancer/Infusion Center satellite serves a busy outpatient chemotherapy infusion center. Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians work closely with nursing staff and oncologists to review chemotherapy regimens and participate in patient care.

Role Purpose
Assess, monitor, initiate, and modify medication use according to patient condition and age specific criteria. Serves as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other health care practitioners in matters related to specialized area of pharmacy practice. Supervises and directs supportive personnel. Counsels and educates to promote optimal drug therapy. Directs and assists in the procurement, storage, distribution and disposal of medications.
