Clinical Pharmacist Output- Full Time-Days - Huntsville Hospital Health System

Retail pharmacist interprets and fills prescriptions and manages retail pharmacy medications distribution, monitors patient drug therapies, and provides drug information to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.  Pharmacist works closely with the clinical pharmacists in the Rheumatology and Cancer Centers to provide care for outpatients from these sites. Pharmacist supervises and directs supportive personnel and manages all aspects of retail pharmacy in the absence of the retail pharmacy manager. Prior retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred.  Must have the ability to analyze situations and make decisions inside the management structure and have excellent communication skills with the ability to work with others in a fast paced environment.

EDUCATION:

                       Graduation from an ACPE  accredited School of Pharmacy

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

                        Current Licensure by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist.
