Clinical Pharmacist at US Tech Solutions

Duration: 3 months contract

Job Description:

·         Supports Brand pharmacies in the development, administration, and evolution of services designed to assist customers in maintaining good health or improving current health conditions. Positions Brand pharmacies to maximize performance-based reimbursements and/or mitigate performance-based fees. Areas of primary focus will include pharmacist/technician provided immunizations, medication therapy management, disease state management, point of care testing, and expanding the role of retail pharmacists in other clinical areas.

Responsibilities:

• Develops clinical programs and services that measurably change customer behaviour in choosing good health or improving health while enhancing Brand pharmacy department financial performance.
• Research and reviews state and Federal regulations on pharmacist administered services such as immunizations.
• Reviews and edits clinical materials used in Brand pharmacy services offerings, such as immunization standing orders or other clinical protocols.
• Responsible for flu vaccine ordering, liaising between the Brands and the manufacturers or suppliers.
• Serves as primary point of contact with manufacturers and accounting to ensure invoices are paid on time and triggers inventory adjustments.
• Provides monthly and as needed flu and vaccine reporting to the Brands. Works with various vendors to approve tasks or program reviews.
• Troubleshoot and monitor vaccine reporting, and patient outbound communication.
• Understands and prepares Brands to deliver against the needs of various health care organizations, payers, employers and governmental healthcare organizations.

Experience:

· 2 to 4 years of experience

Skills:

·         Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, word

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree, current US Pharmacist license with Immunization certification
