Position Type: Hybrid (Mon. and Fri. work from home, Tues./Wed./Thurs. onsite)
Schedule : M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay : $74.10
DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Pharmacist, the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for the daily operation of clinical programs and prior authorization activities. The Clinical Pharmacist should demonstrate the ability to participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to Members through Clinical Programs including Medication Reconciliation, Medication Therapy Management, and other departmental initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Three (3) or more years of individual or combined experience in pharmacy, hospital, or drug benefit related quality assessment, utilization management and/or provider liaison duties OR Minimum of one (1) year Managed Care residency OR Ambulatory Care residency
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) from an accredited institution required
- Possession of an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Registered Pharmacist license issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy
- Schedule may adjust based on business need which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Position is eligible for telecommuting/remote work location upon completing the necessary steps and receiving HR approval
