Summary:
Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services develops, coordinates, and monitors the pharmaceutical care provided by the pharmacy staff at Trumbull Memorial Hospital and Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital. The Manager is responsible for leadership of the operational and clinical functions of the Pharmacy Department across both campuses. This leadership includes: planning, coordinating, staffing, disciplining, evaluating, and problem solving as well as any other management tasks assigned. Assures adherence to applicable rules and regulations of all appropriate legal and regulatory requirements at all times.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with an advanced degree (Pharm D. or Masters degree) Post graduate residency training preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy with experience in clinical pharmacy services and at least 3 years in a departmental leadership role.
- Current Ohio Pharmacist license, in good standing required. Board Certified Pharmaceutical Specialist certification within 1 year of hire.
- BLS required within 90 days of hire. ACLS preferred, but not required.
Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
- Serves as a supervisor for Pharmacy staff members and coordinates the orientation and training of the staff members, in coordination with the Director of Pharmacy.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing assessment of Clinical Pharmacy Programs across multiple hospital campuses.
- Develops and maintains the hospital drug formulary across both campuses with a focus on standardization.
- Develops, coordinates, and monitors all Pharmacy department quality assurance programs and education programs relating to medication therapies for pharmacy, medical, and hospital staff at both campuses.
- Serves as a liaison with medical staff for issues related to pharmacy clinical services and pharmaceutical care
- Assists in the development of departmental budgets and cost savings initiatives across multiple campuses.
- Responsibility for Pharmacy Residency Program
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
