Strategies to Empower People is looking to hire a full-time Clinical Program Director for our Enhanced Supported Living Services department! This position will include program design, development and implementation strategies, supervision and consultation of individual clients' service coordination, treatment plans and effective implementation approaches and interventions for the individuals we who are members of our community-based supported living program. This program serves disabled adults who have consistent & severe behavioral and medical challenges in the greater Sacramento area.

WHAT IS THE JOB?
The ClinicalProgram Director reports to the Chief Executive Officer to provide progressive supervision and direction to Managers, Field Supervisors and field staff for our Enhanced Supported Living services department. The Clinical Program Director will work to develop treatment plans for the Intellectually and/or Developmentally Disabled adults we serve, as well as develop and train staff on understanding and implementing trauma-informed care and case management.
The ClinicalProgram Director has a hand in almost every aspect in the services we provide, from general administrative duties such as documentation, reports, and ensuring agency compliance to off-site assessments for incoming clients, hands-on support for our current clients, and developing and implementing numerous plans, goals, and celebrations for the people we support.
This position works directly with people who regularly communicate through challenging behaviors, including severe physical aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction. The Clinical Program Director is also responsible for writing therapeutic treatment plans and ensuring implementation by treatment teams.
Having a passionate affinity for the population we support is an absolute requirement for this position!
The Clinical Program Director will supervise and develop our Program Manager I positions, field supervisors, as well as field staff who work one-on-one with the people we support. The ClinicalProgram Director is responsible for not only the health, safety and success of our clients but also the health, safety and success of our employees. Our direct support staff, supervisors and managers can only thrive under a great ClinicalProgram Director!
SCHEDULE
The ClinicalProgram Director position is a salaried exempt role which is on-call Monday through Friday and may be responsible for occasional weekend on-call coverage. Please note that this is not a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. position! The ClinicalProgram Director is one of the last lines of supervision for our agency and needs to be a constant and accessible resource for our clients, supervisory team, and our field staff!
The rate of pay for this position ranges from $94,000-$102,000 annually (depending on experience), including a one-time relocation reimbursement up to $2,500 depending on distance.
LOCATION
This position operates out of our Sacramento office location, which is located at 2330 Glendale Lane in Sacramento, 95825. This is not an office-only position or a remote position! The expectation for the ClinicalProgram Director is to be on-site and available to support our clients in the entirety of the greater Sacramento area with occasional travel to the Sonoma and Placer counties as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Clinical Program Directorrolerequires at least four (4) years experience working in the behavioral health field. Experience working with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD population) is preferred.
This position also requires at least two (2) years of supervisory and fiscal management experience. This means supervising staff, NOT supervising individuals with disabilities! (Two years experience providing In-Home Support Services is NOT considered supervision!)
Other relevant experience includes Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBCA) in the state of California.
Being a licensed and insured driver is necessary for this role, which includes having a clean driving record (no excessive points, and no DUIs/wet-and-reckless in the past 10 years). We provide mileage reimbursement at a rate of $.685 per mile.
