SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Clinical Program Manager - Goal Concordant Care position is to oversee and advance our Goal Concordant Care (GCC) initiatives, focusing on the effective implementation and continuous improvement of various programs in clinical areas. The Clinical Program Manager will collaborate closely with Nurse Educators, Physician advisors, clinical programs, and Patient Experience Skills Development staff to optimize practices and enhance patient care experiences through rigorous program oversight and feedback analysis. They will work alongside the Clinical Director, GCC to identify gaps in the institution and practices related to GCC, developing innovative solutions to promote a patient-centered care environment. This role will also involve creating comprehensive reports and maintaining up-to-date presentations to communicate program outcomes and engage GCC stakeholders in decision-making processes. The Clinical Program Manager will collaboratively work with the MD Anderson-Schwartz Center leadership to support this initiative.
Clinical Program Manager - Goal Concordant Care opportunity. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field and five years of clinical experience in an identified licensed field to include two years of program or project management experience. Current license/credentials required for the field of clinical study.
Candidates with Bachelor's degree in Nursing and five years of clinical experience to include two years of teaching experience and one year of experience in a leadership role are preferred.

EDUCATION

- Liaise with Nurse Educators and Patient Experience Skills Development staff to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the program.
- Monitor program outcomes and feedback to optimize nursing practices and enhance patient care experiences.
Schwartz Center Administrative Support
- Perform administrative functions, focusing particularly on coordinating activities with the Schwartz Center. Managing event schedules and event preparation, facilitating communications, and ensuring seamless logistics for events and projects in collaboration with the Schwartz Center team. Support research efforts pertaining to the Rounds.
Gap Identification and Solution Development:
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director, Goals of Care to identify gaps in the clinical culture and practices related to Goal Concordant Care (GCC).
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to address identified gaps, fostering a culture of patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Develop and manage any programs that influence clinical applications of GCC.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Create comprehensive reports on initiatives, including program effectiveness, key metrics, and outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date PowerPoint presentations summarizing project status, achievements, and future objectives for effective communication with stakeholders and leadership.
Support for Research Initiatives:
- Assist in supporting research efforts related to programs, patient care outcomes, and GCC strategies.
- Collaborate with research teams to collect data, analyze findings, and contribute to publications and/or presentations.
Weekly Meetings with GCC Stakeholders:
- Facilitate weekly meetings with GCC stakeholders to discuss initiatives, share progress updates, and gather feedback.
- Engage stakeholders in decision-making processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and patient care priorities.
