Clinical Risk Manager Position Overview:

As the Clinical Risk Manager, you will develop and maintain systems within the organization to detect, monitor, prevent, and measure patient events and potential patient harm within our Skilled Long-Term Care facility.                      

Assistant Director of Nursing Key Duties:

• Assist with internal and external survey events and action plans.
• Review and manage risk related events and SNF Metrics Reporting.
• Collaborate on incident reporting, investigations, and documentation.
• Analyze patient safety incidents, medical errors, and potential risk.
• Participate in Mock Surveys and support the clinical team.

Assistant Director of Nursing Qualifications:

• Must possess valid and active RN State License for the state of Florida. Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Previous Risk Management experience in hospital, skilled long-term care facility, hospital, or other related healthcare setting.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience within a skilled long-term care facility, hospital, or other related healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations and the survey process.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.
