Clinical Services Coordinator - Psychiatry - Brooklyn Hospital Center

The Clinical Services Coordinator provides psychiatric evaluations to our patients, performs medication management and monitoring, and coordinates mental health care with our team.



Responsible for the initial evaluation, formulating the appropriate diagnosis and managing the ongoing treatment plan of the acute psychiatric patient. Determines appropriateness for discharge, and discharging as needed to the appropriate level of care.

Coordinate effectively with an interdisciplinary team throughout the hospital, including the admissions area, the inpatient unit, and other parts of The Brooklyn Hospital Center, as necessary.




* Master’s Degree in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner
* Experience in psychiatry care setting
* Current New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse
* Current New York State Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – unless working remotely
* Strong communication skills.
* Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole - PREFERRED
