What You'll Be Doing:- Coordinates and directs the daily provision of clinical pharmacy services, targeting optimal cost-effective drug therapy.
- Provides specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug use and therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintains liaison relationships with medical and nursing staffs.
- Responsible for leading efforts in the prevention and reporting of medication errors.
- Coordinates and maintains the adverse drug reaction program, medication use evaluation program, formulary maintenance, in-service programs, and clinical interventions.
- May conduct or participate in clinical research including, but not limited to, IND studies.
- Serves as a role model, mentor and resource for the staff pharmacists.
Full Time, day shift, 8am - 4pm, Mon-Fri
- Education: Doctorate degree from an accredited ACPE College of Pharmacy - Required
- Work Experience: Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency - Required
- PGY-1 Required PGY-2 ( preferred)
- Licensure/Certifications: NJ Pharmacist license (required)
