POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Jewish Board's Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve

The Social Work Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the provision of services, oversight of administrative processes, and clinical supervision of staff for the PROS Program
The position requires familiarity and compliance with all relevant agency and funder regulations, as well as an understanding of and commitment to recovery and rehabilitation for individuals living with mental illness
The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the program's leadership team and is primarily responsibility for implementation and oversight of new/innovative clinical services or models of care and clinical supervision and professional development of licensed staff
Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring clients receive timely access to quality clinical services; overseeing administrative functions to support program operations; and ensuring program compliance with federal, state, and city regulatory bodies and funding entities.
Clinical Services:
- Provide individual clinical supervision to PROS Program staff.
- Provide direct service to participants, including conducting individual, family and group sessions.
- Plan and participate in program activities.
- Facilitate weekly team meetings, briefings and case conferences.
- Ensure quality assessments, risk management, service planning, service reviews, contact, and progress notes
- Integrate recovery, rehabilitation, treatment and vocational components of the program
- ensure clients have timely access to care by ensuring admissions and discharges are completed in a timely manner, assigning cases in a timely manner and ensuring clinicians have adequate case load sizes to minimize clients' wait for services.
- Other clinical duties, as assigned.
Administrative Functions and Program Operations:
- Provide administrative supervision to PROS Program staff
- Ensure clinical and administrative compliance in all program areas
Assist with external audits and audit preparations.
- Monitor program participation, census, group participation and billing to ensure fiscal viability of program and address any fiscal or billing programs that arise.
- Ensure proper and timely monthly billing for services; utilize Anasazi to run reports and monitor billing.
- Conduct and arrange staff training & development, as required, and conduct performance appraisals.
- Participate in and oversee admission and discharge processes and decisions.
- Develop and improve operations, systems, effectiveness, census and quality impact projects/activities.
- Conduct and participate in quality assurance activities, including Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI), consumer satisfaction surveys, and chart reviews and audits.
- Implement new initiatives and program improvement activities.
- Monitor and follow up on incidents.
- Conduct community outreach and maintain external community relationships.
- Participate in and facilitate various meetings.
- Interview and hire program staff; process staff termination in accordance with JBFCS Policy & Procedure.
- Schedule and monitor staff attendance, staff and vacation scheduling to ensure proper coverage.
- Serve as back up to the Director, assuming responsibility for operations in her absence.
- Other administrative duties, as assigned.
- Provide and supervise crisis intervention services.
- Ensure Crisis Intervention Incident Reporting
- Provide on call weekend duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:
- Master's degree in social work or Mental Health Counseling and New York State clinical licensure (LMHC, LMSW, LCSW)
- Solid clinical skills and Knowledgeable of evidence-based practices
- Prior experience in DBT, Trauma Focused CBT, EMDR preferred, but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership, teamwork and communication skill
