Job Description:
Sign on bonus up to $3000 (pro-rated for part time)
Responsible for the day-to-day clinical oversight of the 23 bed clinical stabilization services program to ensure quality patient care that is consistent with regulatory agency standards and evidence-based practices for addiction treatment. Under the direction of the Program Manager and in his/her absence, assumes responsibility for the daily operation of the program.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides weekly supervision, and crisis consultation as needed, to recovery specialists, counselors, care coordinator including monitoring case load and assigning new clients as appropriate. Assures development of crisis response plan for clients as needed.
2. Reviews all clinical documentation on a quarterly basis to assure full compliance with Federal, State, and Program regulations and stipulations as well as private payors and CARF. Oversees Quality Assurance program.
3. Provides regularly scheduled supervision to program clinical staff, reviewing group dynamics and developing strategies to maximize client continuation and compliance. Develops in-service training for clinicians.
4. In collaboration with the VP of Addiction Services, and Program Director, conducts ongoing review of the clinical program design and implements recommendations for improvement.
5. Develops new groups for special populations, including HIV/AIDS and domestic violence.
6. Participates in the hiring and evaluation and scheduling of staff as assigned.
7. Attends and participates in Program Managers meetings, Treatment Continuum Meetings and Program Team meetings as required.
8. Shares in on-call responsibilities for Treatment Program.
9. Performs direct service as directed.
Qualifications:
+ Master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field required: clinical psychology, mental health, psychology, rehabilitative counseling, social work.
+ Independent licensure preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LADC I). Must be on track to obtain independent licensure prior to January 1, 2028.
+ Two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience and at least one-year full time equivalent year of clinical experience in a supervisory role required. May be able to consider candidates without one year of supervisory experience if independently licensed.
