Clinical Supervisor - Community Based Services - St. Joseph's Villa

Overview:
The Clinical Supervisor oversees the clinical aspects of Community-Based and School-Based Services. Reporting to the Director of Community Based Services and working alongside the Day Treatment Director, this role focuses on clinical quality compliance, supervision of staff, and program operations, ensuring alignment with licensing, Medicaid, accreditation standards, and the Villa’s mission.
Responsibilities:Clinical Quality Compliance & Improvement
- Design interventions and levels of care for clients.
- Ensure staff are trained in selected techniques.
- Oversee client documentation and service plans.
- Ensure compliance with DMAS, DBHDS, Human Rights, and COA standards.
- Support licensing, certification, and accreditation efforts.
- Report incidents and suspected abuse/neglect.
- Initiate referrals for additional client support as needed.
- Provide after-care services as appropriate.
Clinical Supervision of Staff
- Supervise assigned clinical staff.
- Collaborate with directors on evaluations, training, discipline, hiring, scheduling, and development.
- Lead treatment teams and coordinate wraparound services.
- Develop and deliver in-service training to enhance staff competencies.
Clinical Program Operations
- Assist in program goal and policy development.
- Oversee eligibility assessments and intakes.
- Monitor clinical activities, schedules, and resource utilization.
- Ensure proper program budget implementation.
- Advocate for clients and the Villa in the community.
- Collaborate with community and placing agencies.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for work processes and resources.
- Maintain professional development and staff training.
- Assume on-call responsibilities as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as needed, such as P.E.T.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Current Virginia license (e.g., LCSW, LPC).
- Five years of relevant experience.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, DBHDS, and Human Rights regulations.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
