At Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA), we are dedicated to delivering comprehensive, compassionate, and culturally responsive mental health services for adolescents aged 13 to 17. Through our intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs, we provide tailored treatment plans addressing mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and behavioral concerns. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our leadership team. This role is essential in supporting clinical operations, enhancing program quality, and advancing AWA's commitment to improving adolescent mental health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Oversight: Support the Clinical Director in managing and delivering high-quality mental health services, ensuring best practices and ethical standards are upheld.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise the clinical and operations teams in alignment with the Clinical Director's guidelines.
- Program Development: Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based programs that meet the unique needs of adolescents.
- Program Coordination: Oversee program scheduling, team schedules, and coordinate consults, intakes, and utilization/peer reviews.
- Supervision and Training: Provide supervision and mentorship to clinical staff, including therapists and counselors. Oversee ongoing training and professional development.
- Clinical Services: Lead clinical meetings and make key clinical decisions in collaboration with the Clinical Director. Carry a small caseload of clients and facilitate group sessions.
- Assessment and Treatment: Participate in clinical assessments and treatment planning to ensure personalized, high-quality care for each client.
- Crisis Management and Family Liaison: Manage crisis situations, AMA blocking, and act as the primary family contact for concerns related to the client or program.
- Quality Improvement: Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as schools, community organizations, and families, to promote holistic adolescent support.
- Documentation Compliance: Audit clinical documentation to ensure adherence to AWA standards and regulatory requirements.
- Administrative Support: Aid with administrative duties, including compliance, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. Licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psy.D., or equivalent) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with adolescents in a mental health setting. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Qualified Supervisor: Preferred.
- Skills: Expertise in evidence-based practices for adolescent mental health, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong collaboration abilities.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
