Clinical Supervisor - Centurion Health

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Idaho Department of Correction. 

We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Pocatello Women's Correctional Center located in Pocatello, Idaho.

• Coordinate site/unit behavioral/mental health services by provision of administrative support, supervision, and patient monitoring
• Develop, implement and evaluate behavioral/mental health services, including intake/admission process, assessments, individual follow-up, treatment planning, psychoeducational treatment, group therapy, crisis intervention, and services for segregated patients
• Plan, supervise, assign, and manage the clinical responsibilities provided by behavioral/mental health staff to ensure that facility/unit needs for clinical and consultative services are met
• Coordinate the supervision of unlicensed mental health staff
• Supervise clerical support staff to ensure patient medical records and department files are maintained appropriately and as required by policy
• Respond to behavioral/mental health emergencies and participate with staff in resolving the emergency
• Ensure provision of clinical evaluations as required by the client’s administrative staff or other appropriate agencies
• Develop system that provides 24-hour behavioral mental health consultation services to institutional staff that require assistance with immediate crisis intervention for patients if required
• Assist in staff selection and recruitment as requested and coordinate orientation for new staff
• Provide staff counseling and performance evaluations including applicable documentation under the direction of Regional Office leadership

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
• Active Psychologist or Mental Health Professional license in Idaho is required
• Professional experience, knowledge and skills in group and individual therapy, diagnosis and treatment of major mental illness, crisis intervention and psychological evaluation techniques and substance abuse treatment
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
• Three years behavioral/mental health experience in a correctional and/or mental health services environment preferred
