Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will be responsible for providing counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families in order to promote their emotional and mental well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of individuals and families.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique situations and goals.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address a wide range of issues such as communication problems, conflict resolution, parenting challenges, and mental health concerns.
- Utilize evidence-based therapies and intervention techniques to promote effective and positive outcomes for clients.
- Assist clients in improving their coping skills, enhancing their problem-solving abilities, and developing healthy relationships.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to coordinate client care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to clients during periods of crisis or transition.
- Educate clients on mental health issues, healthy communication patterns, and effective coping mechanisms.
- Stay updated on current research and trends in family therapy to apply the latest evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed as a Therapist or willingness to pursue licensure.
- Proven experience working as a Family Therapist or in a similar counseling role.- Strong knowledge and understanding of family dynamics, systems theory, and various therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy skills.
- Ability to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment for clients.
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
