Our client is a leading non-profit social services provider is looking for an Clinician- (Outpatient Mental Health program)
Type: Perm
Schedule: Full time: Monday-Friday 8a-4p or 9a-5p
Location: Washington, NJ (Warren County)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive holistic assessments of children, adolescents, adults, older adults and clients with secondary diagnosis of MR/DD; involve family members as indicated.
Develop individual and family focused treatment plans which are goal directed; involve family members as indicated.
Provide individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults, older adults and clients with secondary diagnosis of MR/DD).
Coordinate treatment with other Center for Family Services.
Coordinate treatment planning with DCP&P, schools, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole, IDRC, Office on Aging and other relevant agencies and services.
Complete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.
Complete reports to be submitted to DCP&P, the Court, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole and IDRC on a timely basis.
Meet with supervisor on a regular basis.
Be familiar with community resources and refer clients as indicated.
Participates in regularly scheduled department meetings and attends scheduled administrative/clinical meetings
Takes responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars
Participates in Center and Program performance improvement activities.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field, from an accredited University
License for independent practice in New Jersey, in good standing, LAC/LPC or LSW/LCSW
2 years supervised experience in working with mentally ill clients
