Position Overview:

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinician with expertise in relationship issues and couples/marriage counseling to join our dynamic team. As a clinician at The Relationship Suite, you will work with individuals and couples to address communication breakdowns, resolve conflicts, and enhance intimacy in their relationships. This role involves a combination of individual and couple therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote emotional well-being and relationship satisfaction. Candidate must have 10 plus years of experience in the workforce, and work nights or weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide individual and couples therapy, focusing on relationship issues such as communication, conflict resolution, trust, intimacy, and infidelity.

· Facilitate therapy sessions that help couples navigate the complexities of marriage, partnerships, and long-term relationships.

· Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

· Conduct assessments and provide insights into relationship dynamics to help clients develop healthier interactions.

· Work collaboratively with other clinicians and team members to offer comprehensive care and follow-up.

· Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

· Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision to stay current with best practices in the field of couples counseling.

Qualifications:

· Master's or Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).

· Licensed to practice in [State] (or multiple states if applicable).

· At least 2-3 years of clinical experience working with couples and individuals facing relationship challenges.

· Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, or other relevant modalities.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a deep understanding of relationship dynamics.

· Ability to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood.

Preferred Skills:

· Certification in Couples Therapy (e.g., Gottman Method, EFT).

· Experience working with diverse populations and relationship structures (e.g., LGBTQIA, non-traditional families).

· Comfort with providing both in-person and teletherapy sessions.
