We are looking for a Closing Specialist for a nationwide title and closing agency.
Your specific duties will include:
- Audit each assigned file to ensure all required closing documents (payoff letters, clear title, taxes, etc.) are present and accurate.
- Prepare closing disclosures by accurately inputting all required information to ensure closing requirements are met, including following a state-specific guide and calculating new fees for recording.
- Confirm any changes the lender will need to make on closing disclosure or recordable documents, prior to sending the closing package.
- Coordinate scheduling process by initiating contact with the loan officer and following standard procedures to ensure closing conforms to all established requirements.
- Review documents and special instructions within the file before sending documents to signing agencies.
- Escalate and prevent any issues reported by the notary or borrower from the closing table to the lender and work with all parties to resolve them.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
