Requirements:
Availability to work 100% on the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
Experience in infrastructure / systems environments performing systems planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software) and optimization (7+ years);
Experience designing and configuring cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure;
Experience configuring and administering Windows operating systems (2016 and above);
Experience administering Exchange Server (2013 and above);
Experience assessing and designing cloud migration strategies (preferred);
Experience reading, writing and interpreting technical specifications and complex flow charts (preferred);
Experience with Azure Migrate (preferred);
Experience with Azure Data Services (preferred);
Experience with the Microsoft Cloud Platform (preferred);
Experience configuring Azure monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts (preferred);
Experience with Microsoft Azure backup strategies (preferred);
Experience with containerized applications (preferred);
Successful completion of Data Center cloud migration projects (preferred);
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.
Microsoft Azure Administrator and Microsoft Azure Architect Certification.
Responsibilities
Prepare a detailed Cloud Migration Plan for each server, group of servers, systems, or applications that will be migrated to the cloud based on the analysis of the On-Premises Infrastructure and the Azure Government and Commercial Tenants. The plan must cover how the program will be implemented and maintained to ensure success. Submit the Cloud Migration Plan for review;
Review current Azure Tenant design and configuration. Provide a report to communicate if the design is appropriate and/or if changes are needed. If changes are needed ensure proposed modifications follow Microsoft's Best Practices;
Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise;
Comply with Administrative Policies and Procedures by working directly with the Contract Manager throughout the contract term.
Produce detailed documentation for any Azure native resource deployed including, but not limited to, Load Balancer, Virtual Network, Firewall, Storage, API, App Registration, Third Party Appliances, Monitoring, Peering, Workbooks;
Oversee and manage the development and storage of project technical documentation. Ensure work performed complies with the policies, procedures, and technical standards provided by the Contract Manager, and that the technical documentation facilitates the transfer of knowledge to the staff that is necessary to maintain the system(s);
Work with Functional Managers to obtain and maintain resources as required by the Contract Manager;
Work with the Infrastructure and Operations Team in the execution of tasks and activities outlined in the Azure Migration Plan.
