Job Summary:
We are seeking an AWS Cloud Application Engineer with DevOps experience to join our team. The AWS Application/DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications on the AWS platform while also automating and streamlining the DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on the AWS platform.
- Automate and streamline the DevOps processes using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
- Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure to support applications and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements and develop project plans.
- Ensure applications and infrastructure meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AWS, cloud computing, and DevOps.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, EFS and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with DevOps practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), version control, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with managing DevOps tools such as Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible in AWS cloud
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- AWS Certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
