THE OPPORTUNITY

As our Cloud Network Engineer at Xactly, you will help to design, implement, and manage cloud network architectures across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, and Azure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective solutions. Configure and maintain network security measures, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues. Integrate solutions into infrastructure as code with DevOps and development teams. Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies while authoring documentation for operations teams.

THE SKILLSET

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud network architectures in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud network solutions.
• Configure and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate network solutions into the overall infrastructure as code.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging cloud networking technologies.
• Author documentation for operations teams and support staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud network solutions in an agile automation first environment.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with AWS services such as VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, and Security Groups.
• Expert in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Terraform Ansible, etc.) for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Nice to have: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and/or AWS Certified Advanced Networking certification.

The compensation range is specific to the posted job location and role and takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, performance, and market and peer comparisons. Salary ranges allow for growth opportunities as the employee develops new skills and/or hones current skills. A reasonable range estimate is $100,000 to $130,000 plus applicable bonus.
